Shooting squirrels I tend to just end up with a lot of OOF (out of focus) shots. This one turned out, but it's not the perfect shot, I grant you that.

Everyone else, thanks for all the comments and support!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15658342110714675627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3307435162357984481.post-88283386087428057982010-01-08T19:19:42.797-08:002010-01-08T19:19:42.797-08:00I love the detail in the whiskers and the sharpnes...I love the detail in the whiskers and the sharpness of those eyes. I find that I keep looking down to see the back feet and tail.
Also, I would prefer to either have less of the tree in frame, or more of the tree in focus. Maybe stop down to get the bark more in focus (there looks to be plenty of room in the back to keep the awesome bokeh,) or move a little to the right.

-ZAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3307435162357984481.post-83849037309095088942010-01-08T10:37:10.376-08:002010-01-08T10:37:10.376-08:00Perfect! Just enough of the squirrel to create a tension - with a look of expectation to know he is aiming to make it up the tree trunk. Love what you've done with the composition, lighting and contrasts.
