I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Becca and Erik - San Francisco Engagement Photographer

I just loved this engagement session and I can't believe I haven't shared it on the blog yet! (Actually, I can. It's in good company. We're working on that, as you may have noticed. Goal for February: bring the blog back to life. Zombie blogs. It's the new thing.)

Anyway, back on track - these two were just the sweetest and most fun to photograph and I absolutely loved Roxie! I won't lie, she was a little spirited; she made me work for the photographs, but I respect that. If you're a good-looking dog people are always trying to photograph you, right? You can't be posing all the time.

Becca and Erik chose Lover's Lane in the Presidio as their location, and I never understand why I don't see other photographers there - it's one of the most beautiful places in the city, and it usually feels very private and quiet as well.

Gotcha, Roxie!

See what I mean? I love this place!

And then we found this little area that was completely overgrown with ivy. The more green in a photo, the better, in my opinion.

Thanks so much you two! (And you three, Roxie!)

Ashley, Walter and Wilbur - San Francisco Pet Photography

I just love photographing dogs with their people! In my perfect world, there would be a dog at every photo shoot. So you can imagine how happy I was to photograph these two!

That face!

Caturday is Back!

A few cats and kittens for you this Saturday morning. I've got some engagement sessions to shoot, some coffee to drink, and a whole host of blog posts to start putting together, not to mention some photos to edit (like always). Still, I'm pretty excited that it's the weekend. Have a great one, and enjoy these furry felines while you do.

Happy Guinea Pig Saturday!

I know it doesn't sound quite as good as Caturday, but these guinea pigs were really too cute not to share, even if they don't create a good portmanteau with any day of the week.

We had two pairs of pigs, each a mother/daughter set, and all very cute.

Guinea pigs love snuggles too.

And who doesn't love a good guinea pig bum shot?

For the second pair, we brought out some lettuce. And now I don't think I ever want to photograph a guinea pig without lettuce. I think you'll see why.

Lady and the Tramp!

Lettuce tug of war.

Where did all the lettuce go?

Look! There's some. I must grab it.

Yum.
