I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Jillian and Eliot - Overdue!

I photographed this stunning, amazing wedding last year and somehow it never made it onto the blog. Here are a few photos, and I promise (cross my heart!) that a proper, full-length post of images will be up soon. It was a truly incredible day. You'll see.

Experimenting with Double Exposures

A couple of double exposures (in Photoshop) from a recent wedding. I have to say, I've never really been enamored of double exposures, but I think that's because I usually see them in color and then it seems like there is way too much going on. In black and white I'm intrigued by the possibilities to tell a wider story than one image can usually tell.

What do you think? Double exposures, yea or nay?

Clarisa and David - San Anselmo Outdoor Wedding

The weather was perfect - not too hot and not too cool. The sun was out, but it didn't shine too bright. And as David and Clarisa promised to love each other forever, little Nathaniel was there to remind them what their love could create.

As I photographed the day, I couldn't help but notice how many times people said that Clarisa and David were a perfect match. Their quiet, strong love will take them far, and will provide a great environment for Nathaniel to grow up in.

Clarisa, David, thank you so much for allowing me to be there to witness such a beautiful day!
