I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

The Eyes Have It

Window to the soul? Hard to say, maybe my reflection is blocking it... Just kidding. I really do believe that eyes are the best way to read a person's true intentions. I always feel vaguely uneasy when I'm talking to someone wearing very dark glasses, because I feel like I can't judge their reactions to what I'm saying very well.

Anyway, a little birdie told me that there is a way to keep my reflection out of the eye. I'm going to try that next time. Also maybe a narrower aperture, so that all the eyelashes are in focus.

And, if you're interested in buying someone you love a photo gift, both Scott Kelby and Scott Bourne have holiday gift guides for photographers out now. They both have some cool stuff on them; I want the mug that looks like a lens! Here's the link to Mr Kelby's, and here's the link to Mr Bourne's.
