I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Becca and Erik - San Francisco Engagement Photographer

I just loved this engagement session and I can't believe I haven't shared it on the blog yet! (Actually, I can. It's in good company. We're working on that, as you may have noticed. Goal for February: bring the blog back to life. Zombie blogs. It's the new thing.)

Anyway, back on track - these two were just the sweetest and most fun to photograph and I absolutely loved Roxie! I won't lie, she was a little spirited; she made me work for the photographs, but I respect that. If you're a good-looking dog people are always trying to photograph you, right? You can't be posing all the time.

Becca and Erik chose Lover's Lane in the Presidio as their location, and I never understand why I don't see other photographers there - it's one of the most beautiful places in the city, and it usually feels very private and quiet as well.

Gotcha, Roxie!

See what I mean? I love this place!

And then we found this little area that was completely overgrown with ivy. The more green in a photo, the better, in my opinion.

Thanks so much you two! (And you three, Roxie!)

Erik and Bayley - San Francisco City Hall Wedding Photographer

Every wedding is beautiful, without fail, but there's something in the intimacy of City Hall weddings that just speaks to me. Every single person there is necessary - it wouldn't be the same wedding without them.

All of this is, of course, why I loved photographing Erik and Bayley's San Francisco City Hall wedding. Their family flew in to witness (and officiate!) their first married day together. And as you'll see below, it wasn't a dry-eyed wedding.

What a good-looking family!

Alec and Robyn - San Francisco Engagement Photography in the Marina

I just loved shooting this engagement session for Alec and Robyn because it felt a little like I had tagged along on a date of theirs. They're both so warm and open and funny that it's easy to relax into the moment with them. Plus, who can be tense holding such big, beautiful glasses of wine?

They're such a good match together, and you can tell just by the way they are together.

Then we took a little stroll in the neighborhood . . .

And ended up at the Palace of Fine Arts!

Ashley, Walter and Wilbur - San Francisco Pet Photography

I just love photographing dogs with their people! In my perfect world, there would be a dog at every photo shoot. So you can imagine how happy I was to photograph these two!

That face!
