I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Rabbits and Guinea Pigs and a Quail, oh my!

While I am all about posting cat photos, sometimes it feels right to change it up a bit. So here are some small furry creatures who might not be of the feline persuasion but who are definitely just as cute.

The black bunny's name was Snuggles, and if there has ever been a better named rabbit I haven't heard of it. It was hard to photograph him because he kept jumping into my lap! In my experience, that's pretty common behavior from cats, but not from rabbits. Such a sweetheart.

And then there was Leo, the lion head rabbit, who was also coincidentally a lap bunny (obviously this is awesome for the eventual adopter, but makes getting a photo a bit harder. I can't usually photograph my own lap that well). And what a hairstyle! Most of the time his eyes are completely obscured by his fringe.

See what I mean? No eyes!

And this cutie is Piglet, a rather timid but very pretty guinea pig.

And we finished off with a quail! He got a bit excited and flapped around and shed a few feathers, but then he settled down for some photos and I even got to stroke him a bit. Such a pretty fellow.

Come on, you know you want to adopt someone from Animal Care and Control San Francisco.
