I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

May . . .

. . . tastes like cherries and apricots, smells like warm evenings, sounds like soft piano music, and feels like home.

I love May. The farmer's markets start exploding with produce, the city warms up (and wakes up). We have a few summer evenings where you can go out without a jacket (!), and things just seem a bit more expansive, a bit more relaxed. It's light late into the evenings, and the promise of summer beckons, full of more stone fruits, barbecues, and time with friends.

It's a bit ironic that living here in the city without seasons I feel like I've become really attuned to the rhythm of the year, especially when it comes to produce. I admit, I was in a supermarket today that had plums on the shelf and I just goggled at them. Plums in May! Madness.

Anyway, wherever you are, I hope you're enjoying the weather, and appreciating the threshold of summer as much as I am.
