I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Alphabet - Unfinished

Like so many things I've done recently that weren't absolutely essential, my alphabet ended up a little unfinished. As in, I only completed 19 out of 26 letters.

As much as I hate to leave things undone - I think this was an okay compromise. Yes, I love to challenge myself with assignments. And they do tend to get me out of my comfort zone, which is always welcome. But photo assignments really benefit people with cameras who don't use them enough.

This is not me. Have we met? My name is Jessica and my camera is my extra appendage. It comes with me everywhere and gets pulled out of the bag at a moment's notice.

I shoot enough. What I need to be focusing on right now is my business, not fun but ultimately unpractical alphabet assignments.

Still, the part I completed was quite enjoyable. Here's my alphabet, almost. I'd love to hear if you have a favorite.

B is for Bookcase
C is for Chee!
D is for Double Wall
E is for Espresso con Panna
F is for Face

G is for Gazebo
H is for Haven

I is for In-the-Way

K is for Kitten
L is for Lines
M is for Mask
N is for Night
O is for Ocean

P is for Puppet

R is for Reflection
S is for Saddle
T is for Toast
V is for Vines
W is for White Background
Y is for Yawn

So that's my (semi)alphabet. All taken between February 1 and February 25. And yeah, I admit, I skipped all the hardest letters. You can see the complete set on Flickr here.
