San Francisco Real Estate Photography - A Fun Loft
Here are some photos from a recent real estate photoshoot of a pretty San Francisco loft. I don't know about you, but I love those shelves on the walls; I would fill them up with books and tchotchkes pronto!
Also, such gorgeous windows. Plenty of beautiful natural light makes a home so much more livable.
And a few sights from around the neighborhood . . .
I love photographing houses. I feel like it exercises another part of my brain, and as I've said before it's very meditative. I can spend time with lines and symmetry and make my own sense of a space.

Film Friday - Summer
It's September, so the end of summer is definitely in sight. But in San Francisco, it gives us a long, warm hug before it skips off into the sunset and ushers back in the fog. We're currently enjoying that warm embrace, and I honestly don't want it ever to end.
Then again, the spicy scent of fall always gets me going, so I won't complain too much come October . . .

San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts Engagement - Clarisa and David
It seems like forever ago that I posted the sneak peek of this lovely engagement session; I think it's fair to say that I've been neglecting the blog. Not completely, of course; I've still been posting a few things here and there, but the blog hasn't had my full attention.
Still, this was such a fun session! Clarisa and David were total troopers, as the weather turned out to be rather reminiscent of a questionably apocryphal quote from Mark Twain: in other words, it was wet. Wet and cold, and windy.
Still, of course, it was beautiful. I am strongly of the mindset that sometimes the worst weather can make for some of the best photos, and in this case the fog just made everything soft and pretty. Not, of course, that Clarisa and David needed any help with that!
Oh, and did I mention that they brought adorable Nathaniel along with them? Who also braved the cold in fine fashion, and showed almost endless patience with having his picture taken.
Look at those gorgeous eyes!
And of course we needed some baby-kissing shots.
Isn't Clarisa just gorgeous?
Favorite!
I just love this one!!
Calrisa and David, thank you so much for a beautiful session. I can't wait for your wedding in October!
