I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

“A portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it.” – Edward Steichen

Day 109 (June 28) - Back in Time

I didn't take any photos today, spent the day trying to edit and catalogue my Myanmar photos, so I thought I would share one more with you all. I took this in the late afternoon near Mandalay on the way to a lake to shoot sunset photos. I love the sunset photos too, but some of my favorites are ones that I took out of the back of the truck as we were driving there.

(And why were we driving there? Did I accidentally pack my uncharged camera battery instead of the charged one? And then run out of room on my memory card as well? Am I a complete and total failure at keeping the appropriate camera gear with me? Please, please don't answer that.)

  2. Hi Jessica, I just stopped by after clicking your link in a comment at Rob Reiher's blog. I'm enjoying what I see and I hope to spend more time visiting your site in the coming days. I'm also a Lightroom user and try to limit my editing to that, as well as some dabbling with Photomatix on occasion.

By any chance are you the Jessica who joined our newish Facebook group called 365'ers? *trying to put some puzzle pieces together*

    Cheers!

  3. Hi 365photos, so glad you like the pictures! I do my best, which fluctuates in quality.

I love Lightroom. I would marry it, if I thought it would be faithful. (I'm afraid it's sort of a free spirit.)

And yes, I am that Jessica. I never in a million years would have expected the amount of surprise I engendered joining that group! But I am happy to help you put any and all pieces together.

I'm looking forward to checking out your blog as well!
