I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Day 181 (September 8) - Citrus
Some pomelo pieces I shot using my trusty flashlight, some kleenex to act as a diffuser, and a couple of white pieces of paper as reflectors. I'm not in love with the results, but it was fun experimenting with the light.
I think you did a great job experimenting, hey you like some and not others. Personally, I like this - you can just see the juices ready to ooze out - looks yummy!
I've had some pretty strange setups similar to what you described! I still find that a handheld flashlight can help get the look you want. This photo makes me thirsty for citrus!
jack the clarity and contrast up and it looks cool.
ReplyDeletethere is something interesting in the lower right hand section of the fruit.
