I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

More Snow

Last image of my snowy thanksgiving weekend. I love the organic curve of the paw prints contrasted with the industrial straightness of the edge of the road.

  1. This is very cool, what a great capture (although I am needing my hot coffee about now)! :)

  2. I love this photo. The curved path of the paw prints adds to the interestingness indeed, but what really makes the photo for me, is that is is still snowing.

I don't know how you did that - when I take pictures while it's snowing, flakes will obscure parts of the photo, and at the very least, a lot of the sharpness is lost. Here you have managed to have a fully sharp photo, with vivid colours in it, and snow flakes frozen in time on their way down.

When I keep looking at this photo, I can "hear" the muffled silence of snow. It's just a perfect winter photo.

  3. It was a little tough, the lens searched for focus a bit, and a couple times I switched to manual focus, but i did manage to get quite a few in focus shots.

The hardest part was not allowing snow on the lens, which then proceeded to melt and really screw with the focus!
