I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Sprig

I know I said no more pictures of the snow, but I lied. Sorry. This is the last one, I promise.

  3. Technically, you can say it is a photo of the tree :). And I love the bokeh.

  4. You posted on the DPS article that you wanted some critique so I came to your blog to take a look. First you are a talented photographer. I only looked at the last three "snow images" and I have to say nice job. I love the colors in teh trees of the dog foot prints photo. This sprig photo is text book composed using the rule of thirds and that really helps it's attractiveness. I did find myself checking and rechecking the focus and I think that may be because the DOF is quite shallow. I would say one of the few ways this could have been improved is just a little more DOF so it is really obvious that the POI is in sharp focus. You have a good eye!

I went looking for your "Follow" button but didn't find it. If you'll go to my blog and follow me I'd love to check back and enjoy more of your work.

  5. I will create a Follow button right now, that's an excellent idea!

And thank you so much for the in depth critique. I think you are very likely correct on all points.
