I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Have A Seat (and Momentary Return to Monochrome Monday)

So many of us spend our time rushing from one place to the next, trying to fit it all in, squeeze every drop out of life.

I say, bravo! Absolutely. Don't waste a moment. There's so much wonderfulness out there, just waiting for us. It would be a shame to miss out on it.

But don't forget the benches. Take a moment. Have a seat. Breathe. And look around.

Then you can get back to the hectic crunch. It'll wait.

  1. Tis very true, thanks for the reminder

  2. I snapped a few benches today, but true to my nature in outrageous colour, it's better.

  3. I like the sentiment and the photo.

  4. Beautifully written and what a perfect image for the commentary! I love the timelessness of the the black and white, it makes me feel like I have been sitting on that bench for hours reflecting...

  5. Great point and great photo to illustrate it. I like the B&W on this.

I love comments! I read and cherish every single one. Go ahead, make my day.
