I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Manhattan

Manhattan, originally uploaded by quotidian photography.

Standing at the top of the Empire State Building, all I could think was that I couldn't believe I hadn't been there before. It's just never been on my agenda in New York before. But now I can scratch it off the list.

And by the way, this is taken with my new toy, the fisheye optic for my Lensbaby composer. It's a lot of fun, and for the price the quality is pretty good!

  4. Great shot, and a fun lens. I'll have to put it on my wish list.

  5. I like the fisheye much more than the lensbaby alone (I don't like the soft edges of the lensbaby).

  6. The top is the best place to be, although super high & windy, was it? Last time I was there, I was 16 years old...and that was way too long ago.

    Beautiful captures here of NYC.
