I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Rainy Nights . . .

I love rainy nights, even though I think I must be the only person to do so. The other night I was on my way to rehearsal and I momentarily considered skipping it in favor of just staying out on the streets and shooting. Unfortunately my sense of responsibility won me over and I didn't, but I did manage to get this shot in. The light in this alleyway was fantastic, and the colorful graffiti just made it that much better.

  1. I think I would have stayed and shot all night...this is another favorite of mine! The lighting makes this scene just shine!

  2. I've been keeping my eye open for a night like this when I could go shoot. You captured this perfectly. My goal will be to get one almost this good.

  3. Terrible thing to have, "A Sense of Responsibility", if this was just a quick snap on the run, think what a dedicated night would have reaped. Great effect and atmosphere in this urban beautification shot! (Meaning you have made it look beautiful.

  4. Wow - the lighting and the water make this magical!

I love comments! I read and cherish every single one. Go ahead, make my day.
