I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Squiggles!

Meet my new pet, Squiggles. We found her under the house and she's slowly getting used to us. I've always wanted to have a pet snake. They get a bad rap, but really they're awesome. I think she's happy to be in her new terrarium. We fixed it up really nicely.

I'll share some more pictures of Squiggles tomorrow!

  1. This looks like the start of a beautiful Friendship. I'd call the terrarium Casablanca. Have you IDed her yet?

  6. This is an awesome shot Jessica! That little sucker was fast! I'm impressed that you got such good focus on him. Were you using the 85mm f/1.2 for this? Post your settings girlfriend! I need to learn from you!

  7. Ah, settings! 85mm f/2.2, ISO 100, 1/640s. And yes, it was the magical 85mm that turns everything into gold. :)
