I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

  1. Not your everyday daily photo that's for sure!

I'm very tempted to ask where, when, how, why? So I will!

  2. Hey Katherine, near Carmel there's a place you can go hiking called Point Lobos, and there's a little Whaler's Cabin there with a lot of history of whaling in this part of California. The whale bones are just sort of strewn around outside. Fortunately they're pretty old, no one's been whaling here for a very long time.

  3. This is a fantastic picture! I had no idea whaling was really ever done in California, how fascinating!
