ReplyDeleteAmazing details and color. He's adorable.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is SPECTACULAR! The clarity, details and colors are all picture perfect...I hope this guy got a treat for the wonderful modeling job he did! :)
ReplyDeleteYerrific close-up, such clear eyes, could someone name it please, here in Aust, I would guess at some sort of ornate Starling, except for the throat warble, which makes me think I am wrong.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture - the colors in the wing remind me of a peacock.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You captured his many colors very well. Wonder what kind of bird he is.
ReplyDeleteIncredible detail, color and depth of field. How beautiful this ordinary little bird is!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. The detail. So up close and personal. Great shot! xo
ReplyDeleteIncredible detail!
ReplyDeleteTack sharp! Colors just jump out of those feathers. You bird pictures are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIt is posing and seemingly looking to see if you got its close up. I'll just echo all of the above. It could be a starling...
ReplyDeleteThink Ron is right, Jessica. Starling it is.

This is the bird that causes so many problems with the airports. Brought over from England. Since they are not a native bird and are a nuisance, they do not receive protection from the Government.
