I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

“Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow." – Imogen Cunningham

“A portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it.” – Edward Steichen

I am not a one-hit wonder. I swear I can take pictures that are not of flowers. I promise tomorrow will be something else.

  1. My favorite of the blooms to date...you can take as many flower pics as you want, they are very refreshing to me! :)

I mailed out your package yesterday - they said it should be there Fri or Sat...

  2. Winner!
Of the last 3 flower pictures this one works the best for me.

The white flowers are given great definition by the black trunk and I can actually see each pedal as an individual.
combined with a nice framing job and a nice choice in DOF

    Nice Shot.

  3. When you take photos of flowers as beautiful as this why do you need to change? I know, because you want to. But wait until spring hits Northern Utah. You'll see lots of flowers, buds, blooms etc. on my blog to. This one is the best of the past three days, though it doesn't beat day one by much.

Stop by and see my Phun Phriday post tomorrow. You have such a good eye I would love and HONEST critique.

  4. Tammy, JoLyn and Z, thanks!

Scott, I will definitely stop by your blog tomorrow and check it out.

  5. You got a winner here Jessica, this is my favorite of all the blossom shots.

The package is in the mail and should get there Sat.

  6. Beautiful!! I love flower images. I can't wait for spring.

  7. What a lovely blossom shot. Great DOF as well. I really like this.

I love comments! I read and cherish every single one. Go ahead, make my day.
