Lara and I go way back. When we were just little poodles (as she would say) we played soccer together. The only difference was that she was pretty good, and I wasn't quite so much. (Team sports and I have never been the best of friends.)
We ended up in the same AP French class in high school, and started hanging out a little more. Still not a lot. And then kind of flukily we both chose McGill for college and Linguistics to major in (out of all the unprofitable choices! just kidding, I loved it. Every last drop.) And then we ended up living together our final year. After which she hared off to Israel for a while, and then I hared off to Thailand, among other places.
But we both ended up back here, and so we got together recently for a little mini photoshoot. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, so we ended up doing it inside my tiny, very unstudio-like apartment. But we still got some fun shots nevertheless.
Great socks!
Lara, you are super gorgeous, and I would be happy to have you in front of my camera any day!
So, when can we have a reshoot?

Isn't it funny how life has a way of throwing people together? Wonderful shots of your beautiful friend!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots. I especially like the soft lighting on her beautiful face in the first image and the miniblinds make a very interesting backdrop!
ReplyDeleteGreat job. These should be a treasure for Lara, forever.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.
ReplyDeleteNow we know who yesterdays eye belongs to, and the third shot really shows her SOX appeal. One question, I did Indonesian full time for a year and had no fellow students that pretty, How Come LOL
ReplyDeleteI will definitely treasure these photos, taken the day before my 27th birthday. Thanks so much Jessica!!!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I can't claim the eye from yesterday's post, for mine have some green in there...is it Evan's?
I'd love to have a re-shoot in January. I hope the weather stays as pretty as it has been today!
The eye yesterday was Evan's, how astute of you, Lara!
ReplyDeleteAnd I will hold you to that shoot in January, with the hope that we hang out some time without a camera as well.
