I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Film Friday - Positive Film

Until recently, all the film I had shot was negative film. Lots of different kinds, of course, and color and black and white, also of course, but no positive film. So I decided to dip a toe into the positive film pool (thank goodness my lab is so wonderful and develops everything super fast - thanks Oscar's!)

I started with this roll of Fuji Provia 100.

And I have to say, I think I might be hooked. I just love the colors!

Also, I learned that I really shouldn't shoot at 1/15th of a second - 1/30 is the slowest I can count on for a sharp photograph. Too bad.

Mmmm. Positive film. What fun!
