I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Pink and Blue

Ring Ring!

So, a special event occurred this weekend: Evan and I got engaged!

For those who are curious, he proposed in front of the giraffes at the San Francisco Zoo (the site of our very first date). I didn't see it coming at all.

Here's the ring:

It's from a company called Brilliant Earth, who specialize in ethically sourced and green materials for their jewelry. This means that the diamond comes from Canada, the emeralds are lab-grown, and the gold is recycled. And Evan picked it all out himself! (He did a really good job.)

And here are a few more shots of the weekend, in no particular order.

Our amazing bed and breakfast in Cayucos, CA had a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting for us in our incredible room.

Evan looking dapper.

More to come!

The Path

A walk along the California coast is never complete without some ice plant, a few rocks, and maybe a lighthouse in the distance.

Lone Man

Cole Thompson (a great black and white fine art photographer) has a series of images featuring a Lone Man. I was reminded of his work when I framed this image, although I prefer to leave mine in color.

And come back to the blog tomorrow! I have some exciting news.

Victorian

I LOVE the architecture in San Francisco. Little frilly details on all the buildings? Yum.

Chien Mechant

Roughly translated from the French it means 'bad dog.' Makes me wonder just what hides behind this window . . . In SF, though, warning people in French doesn't do much except confuse them.

New version of the logo, what do y'all think??
