Family
Another photo from Valentine's Day. I just thought there was something so arresting about the three men in the family, off playing in the waves (plus of course the way they are arranged according to height) juxtaposed with Mom in the background, watching over them all, but not taking part.

These beach photos are all terrific! I don't know which one I like best!
ReplyDeleteThis is sooooo cool...just love the silhouetted people against the sand and water! One of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteThat is super. You can tell that it is full color, but it looks like a sepia tone monochrome. You should sell this to AT&T - More bars in more places - for their cell phone adds. It takes a good eye to see these opportunities and take advantage of it.

Another great composition that says, so much. Great images.
ReplyDeleteMonotone works so well here!
ReplyDeleteDito on what Tammy said. Wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteThe photo tells a wonderful tale. Sons need that bonding time with their father. This mother is stepping back to give the "men" in her life a little quality time so the children know they are loved too. This scene will likely always remain with them because there is something so tactile about water, sun, wind, the beach, sea air and close proximity to those you love. This photo pulls you in, makes you want to be there so you can feel the elements of nature the same way these people feel it. Excellent shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine composition and what perfect warm tones.
