I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

What do you think about it in black and white?

  1. I prefer the muted colors of "At Sea". More pleasing to my eyes.

  2. My vote goes to the color version!

  3. For some reason I prefer the B/W version. It's more basic, less distraction, and your eye is imediately drawn to the sail boat. It also gives it a bit more sombre mood.
Both great, but my vote goes to the B/W version.

  4. Because of the muted/subtle colors in the color version I would have to vote for it. I do want to say that if I had not ever seen the color version I would say this B&W is great.

  5. I think you should take best of both worlds, and make it a duo tone in those beautiful blues from the color image. It would make it equally pleasing as color version, but without too many distracting tones (like the send at the bottom).
