I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Another Beach Image

This one similar to the beach photo I posted last month. Actually, it was taken at the same time. And like the other I processed it in color and in black and white. What do you think? There was something about the light on this particular day that I really loved.

  1. With this one, I prefer the color image, It seems to me that the sand is too dark, too dominating on the black and white version.

  2. The light is so beautiful in the color image - I prefer it to the black and white, too. The composition is very compelling, too, with those diagonal footprints in the sand and the sails in the distance.

  3. i definitely agree... color is preferred, i love the color of the sand captured and textures, in contrast with the sky.

  4. I like them both as they have slightly different feels to them, but both are good. On my monitor it looks like you simply reduced the saturation a lot because I swear I see some color in those foot prints.
