I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

“A portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it.” – Edward Steichen

Check out: the million dollar question.

Also, Darwin Wiggett's photographer of the month post. Great conversation about the ethics of wildlife photography.

And, don't miss how to steal like an artist.

  1. To me the rust is the element, prefer red rust to grey rust!

  2. I like the B&W version best because it really brings out the texture and the background only enhances the composition. In the color version the rust is over saturated and the background almost distracts instead.

    Nice job.

  3. BW... definitely. Though the color is also good, the BW seems to be a bit more dramatic.

  4. The b&W pulls out and defines, but I like the great colors in the original. Good job either way.
