I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

More Blossoms

I just can't get enough of these blossoms. When I saw them backlit against a blue sky, I knew for sure I was a goner, and sure enough the camera appeared like magic in my hands. I am attempting to photograph other things, for instance the houses last night, but man! it's tough.

Send me some strength.

  1. How can I send you strength when I am getting sucked in to your images as well? Wow those shades of pink against that vivid blue makes for a spectacular view! I want to be laying under that tree right about now!

  3. I KNOW! I took a whole bunch of clicks yesterday too - of pink blossoms against a bright blue sky.... I'm in the Puget Sound area. Where are you?

  4. I'm still in San Francisco. I know these flowers look deceptively sunny, but trust me, it's still pretty chilly here.

  5. Lovely! It is warming up in the Central California Valley. Today I saw the bee hives in the almond orchards and several trees putting out blossoms. Within another week or so, I'll be posting blooms, too.

  8. Rather than stopping it may be your duty to post lots more blooms for everyone still in winter... These are especially lovely.

  10. Stunning. We are still quite cold and down below freezing every night. Yet, we've managed quite a bit of sunshine. It is the winds that are horrible.
