I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Mid-Air
Another shot from my recent ski trip. I must have waited at least 10 minutes for this guy to get up the courage to go down the hill. But it was worth it for this shot!
I would rather wait for this guy to go rather than try it myself LOL....love the wide expanse of snow and that guy flipping in the middle w/ that harsh shadow...WOW!!! Definitely worth the wait!
LOL! if it were me you were waiting on to jump, you'd be a popscile by now!! I have realised this week that good photography=alot of patience...great shot! did you tell him you took his pic?

ReplyDeleteLove how his shadow gives you perspective as to how high in the air he is.
ReplyDeleteI like the textures in the snow and the way the boarder really stands out. Well worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love how you got the shadow. It gives you a depth to his momentum.

The shadow is great here. It really puts the snowboarder in perspective. A wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot and I'd say it was well worth the wait :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely worth the wait. Great shot!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'd rather wait for a shot like this than try to do the jump. :D
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture with the shadow and the structure in the snow.
Awesome. Definitely worth the wait! He looks so puny compared to his surroundings.
ReplyDeleteAnother great shot! I also like the shadow and its relationship to the snowboarder.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I bet he was waiting for *you* to put your camera away so he didn't embarrass himself. LOL!
