I'm so glad you found me! I'm a San Francisco photographer, and this blog charts my journey in the ever-evolving world of photography. One of the things I love about photography is that it's a journey, not a destination. I'm constantly learning and meeting wonderful people. Please peruse the blog to your heart's content, then check out my website and feel free to contact me! (I love hearing from you.)

Pink, Pinker . . .

Another from yesterday's tree. I just thought the light on these was so pretty. I think this is cherry, anyone know for sure?

You have to check out the song in the above video - a gorgeous one about cherry blossoms, by one of my favourite singer songwriters in the world.

  2. I love the way these blossoms look like tissue paper, so delicate. The color really stands out. Can't wait for blossoms in my area!

  5. Super job on the lighting and DOF. I don't think they're cherry, but I could be wrong. It really doesn't matter because they've added a smile to my day well as others. Thanks!

  6. I thin they're plum (at least that's what the plum flowers look like in Santa Cruz). They look amazing and smell awesome =)

  10. The light is indeed fantastic. I think they are cherry from the doubleness and the bark peeling away.
